Mark Ashburn joined ITEX as a client in the early 80's and then as a broker for Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho, in 1987. Mark started bartering while owner of a carpet store in Fairbanks, Alaska, during the Alaska pipeline building days. He moved to the lower 48 in the early 80's and took over a barter exchange in Denver, CO, which he eventually converted to ITEX . He is a past Treasurer for the ITEX Broker Association. As a father of three, he loves cruising the fabulous bike trails of the area, boating, and swimming in the areas wonderful rivers and lakes. Mark is an avid dancer and artist.
